Etruscan Museums in Pitigliano
Civic Archaeological Museum of Etruscan Civilization
and Alberto Manzi open air Archaeological Museum
Art and Archeology they combine in a fascinating combination inside the Alberto Manzi open-air Archaeological Museum and the Archaeological Civic Museum of Etruscan Civilization, which houses archaeological finds from the two important Etruscan cities of Pitigliano and Poggio Buco.
Both located just 10-15 minutes by car from the Agriturismo, they offer their visitors the view of vases and artifacts of the era Etruscan. Rare vases by Bucchero and those that are part of the “Vaselli Collection” but also artifacts that attest to the presence of the tuff rock even in prehistoric times.
In the case of the outdoor one, however, we enter a path that showed the various moments of an articulated urban plant which characterized the history of Pitigliano. Numerous panoramic points allow you to fully enjoy the landscape of which the museum is part.
